Over watering your plants will also be subject to diseases. So, if the soil is sandy and light, it is necessary to moisten with water every 4-5 days and if the soil is heavy, basically every 7-10 days.

Rain is also a factor that you must consider. If it rains, you do not need to water your plants too often. However, as mentioned earlier, too much water can damage your plants, then try and protect your plants from rainwater, if it rains continuously or too heavily.

It is also important to the time of day when you water the plants. If you are watering the plants after 5 in the evening, you are inviting trouble. The foliage of the plant must be dry during the fall of night, otherwise it will become the host of ruin and diseases. Therefore, you should water the tomatoes in the morning to make sure that dries by nightfall. Irrigation in the morning also helps reduce evaporation losses. Midday watering also is not good since evaporation losses are higher during this part of the day.

You need your Tomato Garden flourish and give you a good harvest and careful watering can help you achieve exactly that. The best way to find out if it's time to water the soil is to stick your finger about an inch into the ground. If it is dry, then it is time to water the plants.
